MINISTRY TO THE SICK AND HOMEBOUND
We all have a bit of Peter in us. The gift of our Lord is the difference between repentance and despair. Our humanity allows us to separate ourselves from the connection to Jesus. But the love of Jesus and our response to that love makes all the difference! We’ve all been told, “Repent and believe.” Jesus waits for us to return to Him. Love is the answer, always! Acute and chronic illness, addictions, aligned with Jesus on the Cross, can bring understanding and acceptance of our maladies. We do not suffer alone. We, too, will doubt, deny and repent. We, too, will emerge from the cross of our lives, victorious with Jesus in the glory of God the Father! Please call the Pastoral Care phone number above to arrange to have the Eucharist brought to your homebound loved one. Fr. Tarantino is available to bring the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick to your loved one as well.

MINISTRY TO THE BEREAVED
When we are grieving, it is easy to ask, “Why”? It is easy to second guess our actions in a given situation. It is easy to deny, to be angry, to bargain and even to fear. Jesus showed us His perfect Love; the love that can answer all our doubts and fears. Find Jesus in our lives and we find true peace. Picture our loved ones hearing those Words from Jesus on the Cross: “Today, you will be with me in Paradise.” “Love is the answer. God is Love in Jesus. Resurrection gives us peace.

"Our Bereavement Support group meetings are held monthly throughout the year. They provide a safe and confidential environment in which to share your grief. There is no charge. Refreshments are available.

Every loss is special and important. With every loss there are unfamiliar feelings. It is not good to grieve alone. We need others around us to support and help us. We are better for having shared with others. Reading materials are available.

Please see the Calendar below for the monthly dates. The 2017 dates will be published in August."
